Accreditation
Accredited media professionals can take advantage of a wide range of services provided by the Media Office during the Fringe. Services include:
- review tickets for shows
- Fringe photographs, statistics and information
- contact details for Fringe shows
- images, media kits and additional information for individual shows
- assistance arranging interviews with artists
- feature ideas, should you want to look at a particular theme, strand or angle of our extensive programme
- help and advice in the planning of your visit to Edinburgh.
What are the accreditation criteria?
In order to successfully accredit with the Fringe Media Office, applicants must meet one or more of the following criteria in their relevant field:
All accredited media
- The applicant has a history of having published reviews and / or arts / culture news and features.
- The applicant has an association with a national, regional or international media outlet and publication.
- The applicant has been previously accredited by the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society (dependent on quality of previous output).
- The applicant writes or is commissioned by a publication or media outlet that is considered to attract key target audiences (such as theatre goers, comedy audiences, etc) or has a wide reach (evidence of readership / viewing analytics may be required).
- The applicant can demonstrate proof of commission.
- The Fringe Society believes coverage in the publication or media outlet represented by the applicant to be of benefit to Fringe participants.
Photographers
- The applicant must provide evidence of having had work published professionally.
Award judges
- The applicant has been confirmed as a judge and / or assessor for an award, which necessitates them attending the show.
- The award for which the applicant is judging or assessing is considered beneficial to a show's future promotion.
All applications are assessed by the Media Office of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society.
Press images
The images within this section have been made available for use by the media. All pictures should be credited to The Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society. High-resolution versions of each image can be downloaded by clicking the thumbnails shown below.
Please note: The images are stored in .zip archives that require a password for access. Contact our media office at media@edfringe.com to obtain an access password.
Fringe logos
The Fringe logo is a registered trademark subject to copyright protection and is made available for promotion and marketing only by shows and venues registered for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Use of the Fringe logo is at the sole discretion of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society who will take the appropriate action to protect its unauthorised use.
The Fringe Logo pack contains web and print ready files, including .eps files for use on printed materials with image or coloured backgrounds. Please read our Logo use guidelines before using these logos. If you have any questions concerning usage, contact marketing@edfringe.com.

Use the interview request form to request interviews with members of the Fringe Society. If you are looking to interview an act appearing at the Fringe, please contact media@edfringe.com to be given the relevant show media contact details.

Press release database
